I’ve been using this dark reader for a long time and it has been really awesome. I’ve got serious photosensitivity, so having bright screens in my eyes is extremely painful, but this extension works the vast majority of the time and when it doesn’t it’s usually just because the website had text as an image (why!?). The fact that you can set it for only certain websites is nice and the shortcut to turn it on/off is handy, since that will usually reset and adjust if there is a website that didn’t “turn dark” all the way.

Amazing Extension. Being able to set sites to dark mode is wonderful. Some sites are too bright and my eyes are very sensitive. Chrome is not perfect but this makes it so much better and great to use.

I have been using this for a long time and I love it, but sometime the last few days something changed in how it applies the filters, breaking a few sites (for instance Google docs it changes the text color to black instead of a medium gray, giving me unreadable black on black). It’s also changing all images to black & white (on dynamic, static doesn’t) now where it previously didn’t . If anyone can share a CSS to make static behave like dynamic did before this change id be immensely grateful…

Works great for me. I have it turned on for ALL websites because I hate bright white blinding websites. Have not noticed any issues at all, definitely worth a few bucks a year!

Love it, will never go back to a glaring white background again. Had black before but I like this one more.

This is the best extension in the world. Your eyes will thank you. I only wish they would pick up on the System’s Light/Dark setting (macOS), but c’est la vie

Works as advertised for me. Good performer compared to the other dark mode extensions out there. Intuitive, simple activation/deactivation. Intelligent enough not to upset websites with built-in dark mode settings (like Youtube, etc)

Excellent software, great adaptability for websites with/without dark mode, still need to made improvements on sites such as google docs, but much to be excited about.
