This theme does what I need it to do. It is dark where I mostly need it to be dark. It does weird things on some sites, so I just disable it on those sites.

Helps with not burning my eyes out first thing in the morning when browsing the internet! Highly recommended

It’s a great extension. I hope to see never see a reminder in a new tab like that, I will be forced to find a replacement otherwise.

Outside of Google I found it works on most sites although some sites it was better without it but that would not be the plugins fault as some sites and the way they are developed do not go well with dark mode. The sites I did use it on I had no complaints as it was a good experience and I had no problems while I used it. Nice plugin to have.

Отличное расширение, во-первых, появилось гораздо раньше тёмной темы в ВК, во-вторых, более приятное цветовое решение, в сравнении с тёмной темой от самого ВК.

удалил, когда вк официально доставили тёмную тему, тут же вернул расширение, оригинальный дизайн вк по сравнению с этим просто ужас, конечно тут цвета мягкие, глаза не напрягают, смотреть приятно, в то время как оригинальный дизайн своим контрастом сильно напрягает, глаза быстро устают и болят короче расширение топ, устанавливать обязательно

Dark Reader by darkreader.org is by far the best in it’s class, with several customization options. I give it the WebStore’s 5 Stars, plus an additional 2 Sparkly Stars for good measure. 🌟🌟

This extension is extremely useful. First off, it intelligently looks at the CSS/Stylings of the existing page, as well as the icons, then converts the page to Dark Mode. Some other extensions just do a blanket “change the background to black and everything will be fine”. It is almost never fine. :) Night Eye will adjust font colors, etc. in order to make sure the contrast is correct. Second point: The above method isn’t always perfect. There are some pages that still are difficult to read. In that case, Night Eye provides a place to specify custom CSS. I love this feature, not just for Dark Mode tweaks, but general website tweaks as well. I was thinking of writing my own extension that just did CSS tweaks, but this one had both Dark Mode and Custom CSS. I’ve seen other comments about the price… There IS a free mode, but it is limited to 5 sites. You can just point it to the 5 sites you use the most and you are good. If you want to do the paid one, as of this writing, you can pay $9 a year. Seriously, how is $9 a year too expensive? They also have a $40 one-time fee if you just want to buy it outright. That equates to almost four and a half years of $9/year plan. I have no idea what I’ll be doing in 4 years, so if I do wind up paying, it would probably be the yearly plan. Anyway, I think it is easy to use, has great features, and would recommend it.
