This dark mode extension is simply the best. I have tried a few and they were very clunky and some sites wouldn’t load properly. Last year I was diagnosed with an eye problem which was somewhat caused by eye strain. About a month after I started using dark mode on things my problem with my vision went away. To put it simply, I work too dang much on the computer as a technical website advisor, and doing about 1/2 to 2/3 of my activities online in dark mode has helped a lot. I only found the Night Eye extension a few months ago and the dark mode experience is just incredible compared to other extensions. Very impressed :-)

I love night eye! I’ve tried other dark mode extensions, and this is by far the best. I’m a writer, so I use it on Google Docs mainly, but it also looks really nice on almost everything else! 10/10 would reccomend.

this is awesome like it has it downs like white text on white background and just not that good dark mode on a few websites but damm when you use this extension on Hulu it gets rid of that dumb airbrush effect on the bottom which means i can watch non-english shows and those subtitles. thank you.

This is the best Dark Mode Extension I have found. So simple and user friendly. The Devs did a tremendous job.

I feel bad for everybody that does not know about this extension. I’ve tried countless ones and none can compare. THANK YOU!

This is exactly what I have been needing for so long. There is a surprising amount of customization and I cannot thank the Dev enough.

Overall - It is really good! Details: I really like the simplicity of the extension. I would say it isn’t perfect on every site and has a couple problems depending on the website you go on. But since every site is different, it makes sense to have that sort of problem. It is a rare problem to see which is a plus. A breath of fresh air. It works as advertised, really brilliant and it’s free. There is the odd site that doesn’t translate well but it rarely happens. 5 Stars for that. I’ve come across a rare but really annoying problem for me though, and it may well be Downloader for Instagram’s fault: I’ve started using the Downloader for Instagram extension but when combined with Dark Reader, on Instagram’s feed the poster’s details above each pic are reversed out, in a white rectangle, really ugly. I’ve posted this to Downloader for Instagram’s page too in case they’re the ones they need to do something about it.
