It used to be great; you could turn on dark mode for both the background AND the actual doc/paper. Now you can only turn on dark mode for the background, and the doc/paper part of it still burns my eyes. Not sure why they removed it, gonna assume it’s for money sake but deeply disappointed. I hope I find another extension similar to the old one. Edit: deleted it and redownloaded it after a while and the options are back. I love you

Excelente extensión. Me gustaría que exista un modo en el que solo se inviertan los colores en las páginas que yo elija, porque yo la uso para poner las páginas con modo oscuro a modo claro ya que odio el modo oscuro.

Best dark mode extension i’ve used though it would be great to sync settings. At least sync to a github or microsoft account or export/import settings. I like that you can set a whitelists manually and have more control. I’m quite impressed but the lack of sync support will likely make me move to something else unless it’s added soon. I’m a developer too and know how difficult and tedious this stuff can be.

Awesome! Does what it needs to do. It’s lightweight, easy to toggle on/off and you can add websites to a “whitelist” if they don’t play well with the color inversion. NOTE: If you are watching an embedded video player, it’s recommended to “whitelist” that site or the video will play a bit slower/choppy as the app tries to invert each frame on demand.

좋은 확장 프로그램 만들어 주어서 감사합니다. 그런데 가끔 “일시적으로 다운되었거나 새 웹 주소로 완전히 이동했을 수 있습니다” 메시지가 나오면서 해당 사이트가 열리지 않는 문제가 있습니다. 다크모드를 끄고 클릭하면 정상입니다.

the only dark theme that actually worked for google docs oh my god thank you. awesome extention, love the option for night shift as well as controling the settings.

Very important extension for everyone who cares about his eyes. People who complain about their sites not rendering as expected in dark mode don’t understand that this is an open source extension and you can add fixes for your favorite website in GitHub pull requests you can even post an issue and other developers will fix it for you. No one should ever rate this lower than 5 stars

Hi Nightshift team. I like this ext, moved from the older non-redux version; The main case when I turn it off is for video conferencing. It would be awesome to have a whitelist… a lightlist (?) of websites that are exempt from the extension, like https://meet.google.com Thank you :)
