My son just told me about this, already have dark theme activated for web pages that offers it (YouTube etc) so happy as can be now with this one, no more blinding white =) Really easy to switch off or to activate “softer white” mode - keep up the great work!

Really does a nice job of what it says it does. I’ve tried other similar extensions and they just were too spotty in execution. Now the “options” interface is a designers absolute nightmare, but it functions. Overall very, very effective. Recommended.

Works great for me. And sites that already have a dark mode like Gab I can easily exclude, while other sites like Drudge I can use this extension to make it easier on the eyes.

So good! Only a rare website it doesn’t recolor well, and changing the filtering mode fixes even those 99% of the time.

Incredibly useful!! Love that I can also disable the extension for certain pages.. i.e. I keep dark mode in youtube so I disable dark reader for it ^^

This is amazing. It works for 99% of the websites I have been on and even if the dark mode isn’t complete for a website or isn’t too functional, turning it off is as easy as clicking the extension next to your search bar. By far one of my favorite extensions and I would recommend this to anyone who would like a better viewing experience during the night, or in general.

Hey, excellent extension, the absolute best one i have ever seen! It doesn’t invert colours but smartly darkens webpages. Works on every page like a charm! What i am very sad about is that it’s not free anymore and lite mode is kind of garbage. If it offered 10 web pages i’d be happy. Also it is messing seriously with youtube making youtube light even though i try to use youtube’s internal dark mode. Please fix that soon!!!

Best Free dark mode plugins for google chrome. It is a bit sad that the safari version is not free. Seems to have a plugin for firefox too.

Finally a one-stop solution that works for literally 90% of websites. The added Sepia options allows to have yellow text on the dark background which makes it soooo smooth for the eyes to read webpage content. Easily my favourite browser extension.
