Night-Eye is by far the best dark mode app that works for almost every site. There are a few that do not work so great, but that is going to be a limitation of the person who developed the site. I have extremely sensitive eyes so Night-Eye has enabled me to work more comfortably for longer at my computer.

Not perfect, but so much better than dealing with non-dark-mode websites! Thank you for such a great help.

Not only does this extension seem to work like magic with absolutely perfect color/contrast choices, it’s PERFECT when you’re on meetings and still browsing Chrome so it’s not so obvious when you open a new tab and get blasted by a bright screen

It’s the best dark mode extension. I have only one problem: the dark mode turns all overlays transparent, so sometimes the overlay texts overlap with the original page, making it difficult to read. I suggest you give non-transparent background color to the overlay to solve this. 크롬 다크모드 중 최고인 것 같습니다. 다만 다크모드 작동 시 오버레이 배경 색상 투명화로 인해 바탕 텍스트와 겹쳐 가독성이 떨어지는 현상이 발생합니다. 오버레이 배경 색상을 투명이 아닌 다크모드 기본 배경색과 동일하게 설정해주시면 좋을 것 같습니다.

Dude This extension unlike other dark mode stuff this doesn’t break ALMOST every website And it has many options to Customize, I would say This is the best One so far, Thanks devs for prolonging my Eye’s Life span! :)

UPDATE: The issue is fixed. I loved this extension and this is the second year that I’m paying for it. I believe it does a great job and is a necessary plugin. BUT recently I noticed high CPU usage on my chrome and after disabling all the extensions and testing them one by one, I noticed the problem is with Nighteye. The problem is that the extension starts to consume a lot of CPU, after chrome being open for a couple of hours. So in the beginning everything is fine, and the CPU usage goes temporarily high only when the pages are loaded - which is normal. Then if you leave your Chrome for some time, the extension starts to consume 70% CPU while nothing is being loaded and the number of tabs or their contents are not changed. This was SO annoying that I had to totally turn off the extension. I hope they’ll fix it, and I’ll give them their 5 start again…

it’s almost perfect except sometimes i have to switch it off for a moment to see the scroll bar on drop down menus or pop up windows. i’m only on my pc though so maybe it works better for people on mobile. still i appreciate the effort to make this extension and make browsing more pleasant for me, less eye fatigue. thanks a million to the creator(s)!
